Voyage To An XTRAVA:GANT Reality
Leon Davis x Halden Cooke
Voyage To An XTRAVA:GANT Reality was intended to be an interactive visual album, exploring a narrative of a dystopian future where raving is prohibited and the main character ends up inside a virtual rave utopia.
This is a collaboration between me and artist Halden Cooke (aka Astral Bandit), who focused on the soundtrack whilst I focused on the visuals and we shared the creative direction, writing & coding.
The project’s visual language encompasses the themes of utopianism, rave culture, self expression, diversity, euphoria and digitalism.
Although the project was not finished, the visual language and title sequence were developed - designed and animated by me alongside Halden’s soundtrack.
