Freak Queer Rave

Event poster design for Freak Queer Rave’s annual day party in Manchester. Freak is a club night showcasing electronic music and providing an inclusive space for the queer community.
Inspired by queer cruising culture, the 3D illustration suggests an androgynous figure being caught in the torchlight of a police officer with their hands against the wall awaiting arrest. The lineup is integrated into posters on the street wall to keep the emphasis on the image.
I also put together a poster design for the after party which was in collaboration with club promoter ‘Make Me Feel’. Their brand is focused on positivity and celebration, so I created a warmer artwork depicting a figure dancing in motion.
